AABA's 2010-2011 Nominating Committee  invites you to become a more active and involved member of our bar association.

The Nominating Committee ("Committee") will be accepting nominations for consideration by the Committee starting March 1, 2010 through April 30, 2010.  Self-nominations are encouraged!!!! At their option, candidates may also submit a one-page candidate statement by April 30, 2010. Candidate statements will be mailed with the official ballots, once approved by the Nominating Committee. Ballots will be sent to AABA members in late May, 2010.  Ballots must be returned no later than 5:00 pm, June 14, 2010.

A "Meet the Candidates" event will be held May 19, 2010. Details to follow via E-mail.

The following positions are open for election:

SECOND VICE PRESIDENT(1 year term as 2nd VP, followed by a 1 year term as 1st Vice President, followed by a 1 year term as President)
TREASURER (2 year term)
SECRETARY((2 year term)
BOARD MEMBER(2 year term, 3 positions available)

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to vote in the election but are not up-to-date on your dues or are a new member, you may do so if you pay your dues by the date you submit your ballot.

Honorary Board Members are appointed.
